Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Install conduit, pull wire, and terminate controls according to provided schematics.
  • Read and interpret controls drawings for the installation of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on control systems as necessary.
  • Diagnose equipment failures, test components with appropriate tools, and execute repairs on machinery and related parts.
  • Utilize knowledge of Building Automation Systems for effective troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Complete required electronic documentation using mobile devices or computers.
  • Drive company vehicle to service calls within designated areas.
  • Execute additional related tasks or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC controls or electrical installation/service.
  • Electrical background with a willingness to expand knowledge in HVAC controls.
  • Tridium N4 certification or the ability to obtain it is mandatory.

  • Maintain a positive, cooperative, and adaptable attitude.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, and proficiency in English.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with a positive and caring attitude.
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs comfortably.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and equipment layout materials.
  • Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, motor vehicle record check, and physical capacity assessment.
  • Willingness to travel as required for projects.
