Compensation:The estimated salary for this position is $32-35 per hour, with a sign-on bonus.
Job Description:In this role as Facilities Maintenance Professional at Sterling Engineering Inc., you will be responsible for completing work orders and project work to maintain facility equipment and buildings. Your duties will include maintaining a safe working environment, communicating maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor, evaluating machinery, and suggesting necessary improvements.
You will also focus on machine efficiency issues and process improvements, order parts to complete work assignments, and communicate with departments to accomplish work assignments without interrupting production.
Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a facility maintenance role. You should also have detailed knowledge and experience with one of the following: Boilers, Compressors, Electrical, HVAC, Data, High Voltage, Machining, or Welding.
A background in food manufacturing plant experience is an asset, as well as mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. You must be a self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team environment, with basic computer skills in Microsoft Office software.
Good oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.
