Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Nilfisk Group. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for the assembly of industrial machines, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble industrial machines according to manual specifications
- Use various tools to accurately assemble, clean, inspect, and test products and subassemblies
- Follow all safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Follow all quality procedures and meet quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction
- Participate in manufacturing process improvement teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Document production records and statistics as directed
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous machine assembly experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read, interpret, and write documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving skills, dependability, and will observe all safety and security guidelines
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with non-A/C working environment
- Must be able to work around mechanical/pneumatic tools and be able to use them
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and be multi-tasked
- Must be reliable, dependable, and have good attendance
- Must be able to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays, as work demands
