The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a full-time, board certified/eligible plastic and reconstructive microsurgeon to expand our already robust microsurgery program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care
- Provide clinical and didactic education to learners of all levels
- Adhere to all other duties and guidelines of the Department and The Chair as assigned
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Successful completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency Program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Significant experience and/or a Fellowship in Microsurgery
- Eligible for an Ohio Medical License
About the Department
The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has 20 full-time faculty, 5 faculty at Nationwide Children's Hospital, and 10 community faculty who are committed to the tripartite mission of clinical excellence, research, and education. Our residency program consists of both integrated and independent pathways. We have 26 residents and 4 fellows (microsurgery, nerve, and pediatric fellowships). We are a referral center for central Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky and provide comprehensive Plastic Surgery care at the Wexner Medical Center, including University Hospital, East Hospital, The James Comprehensive Cancer Center, and multiple free-standing ambulatory sites of The Ohio State University.
