Sewer Maintenance Technician Position

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Sewer Maintenance Technician within a prominent water and wastewater organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately execute both written and verbal instructions.
  • Employ various hand and power tools for maintenance and repair operations.
  • Engage in routine maintenance activities for equipment.
  • Be part of on-call rotations to address emergency situations outside of standard working hours.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate heavy machinery, including front-end loaders and dump trucks.
  • Represent the organization positively in all professional interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and transporting heavy items.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and potential environmental hazards.
  • Able to lift weights up to 90 lbs as required.
  • Flexibility in work hours for emergency response is essential.
  • Proficient in using a variety of tools for different maintenance tasks.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
