We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join our team at Advance Services, Inc. in Des Moines, IA.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining various sizes of molds into plastic injection molding machines to ensure parts are produced within specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain molds in plastic injection molding machines
  • Perform machine and mold changes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform mold adjustments during set up, check accuracy during production, and troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to the mold
  • Configure, adjust, and operate automatic or semi-automatic presses and mechanical equipment
  • Ensure quality production of assigned jobs at expected production level
  • Operate overhead crane to transport molds to and from each press
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure production goals are met
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during machine and mold changes
Requirements
  • Minimum one year experience with setting molds preferred
  • Minimum one year experience with overhead crane and maintenance preferred
