Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Yard Spotter to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a Yard Spotter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trailers and equipment within our yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-trip inspections on trailers and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Operate a forklift to move trailers and equipment as needed.
  • Back up trailers into designated spots and disconnect them from the tractor.
  • Install wheel chocks and perform other housekeeping duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
  • CDL A Certification with Hazmat and Doubles endorsements.
  • Minimum 1 year experience driving tractor/trailer combinations.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and equipment standards.
