Responsibilities:
As a Financial Model Developer, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing financial models that support the estimation of new projects.
  • Gathering and reviewing project requirements, historical cost and level of effort, performance metrics, and budgetary constraints to prepare initial level of effort and schedule estimates for new project intake.
  • Researching and documenting current market conditions, including pricing trends, labor rates, and material costs relevant to defense contracts, and maintaining a database of cost data.
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates at various stages of project development (e.g., Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Budgetary, Definitive estimates) for DoD contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal regulations and agency-specific guidelines.
