Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints to ascertain pipe layouts and specifications.
  • Utilize various tools and techniques to measure, cut, and thread pipes.
  • Install and assemble pipes and fittings, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to detect and rectify leaks or other issues.
  • Collaborate with fellow construction team members to ensure timely project completion within budget.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Document work performed and materials utilized accurately.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in a construction or related environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of pipe materials, fittings, and installation methods.
  • Ability to effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
  • Must successfully pass background and drug screening.
