About the Position

This role is responsible for supporting the sales teams' new business development while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing and negotiating with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and sourcing equipment and supplies from vendors
  • Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers
  • Communicating with sales teams and vendor representatives to ensure high-quality service
  • Processing and evaluating requests for quotations and proposals

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Leadership skills required for working with cross-functional groups
  • Computer knowledge and experience with MAS 200 a plus
  • General understanding of accounting practices and shipping/receiving processes
  • Able to work within various commodities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or related field
  • At least 2 years of buying experience
