Job Summary

At Foundations for Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psych Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Psych Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to patients with mental health conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice nursing in Florida.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-17.
