We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at South River Dentistry. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings and screenings, to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with our dental team to provide comprehensive care and ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies to provide the highest level of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current dental hygienist license in Virginia.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
