Job Overview
We're seeking a compassionate and caring Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise of Sandy. As a Care Manager, you'll be responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.
Responsibilities
- BUILD MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS with a specified number of seniors and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living and getting to know their unique preferences and personalities.
- PARTICIPATE in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates, ensuring that each resident receives tailored care and support.
- RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DESIGNATED GROUP OF RESIDENTS during the shift, knowing where they are and physically checking on them throughout the shift.
- PARTNER WITH THE COMMUNITY TEAM to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies.
- RESPOND TO THE DINING NEEDS of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
- INVITE, ENCOURAGE, AND ASSIST RESIDENTS IN LIFE SKILLS and other life-enriching activities as indicated on the ISP and demographic profile.
Qualifications
- DEDICATION TO SERVING SENIORS with excellent customer service skills.
- POSITIVE ATTITUDE and flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents and the ability to work in a team environment.
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA/GED ACCEPTED and may be required per state regulations.
- MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SENIORS PREFERRED.
- AABILITY TO MAKE CHOICES, DECISIONS, AND ACT IN THE RESIDENT'S BEST INTEREST.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses. Additionally, we provide:
