Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs of buildings, equipment, and utility systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and prevent costly repairs.
  • Facilities Support: Provide support to building occupants, including senior management, to answer questions and respond to complaints.
  • Project Management: Assist with planning and execution of long-range building repairs or improvements.
  • Communication: Inform appropriate personnel of problems and projects that may impact production schedules.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist with troubleshooting HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and related controls.
  • Installation and Modification: Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Emergency Response: Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns.
  • Inspections: Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and preventative maintenance.
  • Fire and Life Safety: Maintain and test fire and life safety systems, including fire alarm systems and fire pumps.
Requirements
  • Education: Trade or technical school courses preferred but not required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of previous maintenance experience or equivalent education.
  • Certifications: HVAC certifications preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Electrical, plumbing, and general construction skills.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and ability to meet AutoZone's driving requirements.
