We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Vorteq Coil Finishers LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, control systems, and conveyor systems.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other teams to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge and best practices through ongoing training and education.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals, as well as electrical equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs and work in a manufacturing plant environment with large machinery and moving parts.
- Competitive hourly rate: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
