CT Assistant

We are seeking a skilled CT Assistant to join our team at Cullman Regional Medical Center. As a CT Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department.

• Transport patients safely and efficiently to and from the CT scanner
• Prepare patients for transport by verifying their medical needs with ER staff
• Deliver clear and concise handoff communication to CT staff
• Assist patients to the CT exam table and secure them for safety
• Transfer vital sign monitors and devices for CT scanning
• Return patients to the ER or x-ray department as needed
• Provide excellent handoff communication to the next caregiver in the ER
• Assist with other departmental needs as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Prior patient care experience preferred
• Two to four weeks on-the-job training required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
