We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Ambassador to join our team at Suburban Propane. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving customer retention, and identifying new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive sales support to customers through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Suburban Propane's products and services, including account management, billing processes, and customer policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, presenting a professional and enthusiastic image at all times.
- Process and coordinate accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of customer inquiries.
- Assist with route forecasting, maintenance, and scheduling of daily service work, installation, and repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the propane industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, data entry, and report analysis.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work effectively in a team environment.
