We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at WellSpan Health. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
- Participate in shared decision-making activities, including peer review and quality improvement initiatives.
- Delegate tasks to other nursing personnel as needed, and supervise assistive personnel to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania or multi-state license required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- ICU experience required.
