  • Ensure safety and ergonomic practices are upheld in warehouse and material handling tasks.
  • Integrate the SAP system for effective warehouse management configuration.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and digital transformation in warehouse operations, implementing new technologies to enhance safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan routes for the efficient evacuation of finished products and waste.
  • Audit existing processes to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings with actionable recommendations for improvements.
  • Oversee projects focused on optimizing warehouse operations and contribute to the architecture of the warehouse management system.
  • Maximize storage efficiency within the warehouse.
  • Develop strategies for efficient material picking and placement in storage locations.
  • Utilize tools for warehouse architecture design.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with SAP is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in designing flow architecture for warehouse layouts.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies in warehouse settings, including digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in warehouse design sizing and route planning for the movement of goods.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Must be capable of safely handling chemicals and hazardous materials.

Additional Information:

  • Seeking candidates with strong Industrial Engineering skills.
  • This position is focused on engineering rather than civil or architectural roles.
  • Responsible for configuring material storage and managing product reception.
  • Experience with the SAP WMS module is desired.
  • Involvement in continuous improvement projects is a plus.
  • Responsible for the movement of finished products and defining operational procedures.
  • Daily tasks include generating reports from the WMS to identify and analyze discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related software is required.
