Overview: This educational institution is in search of a qualified and passionate Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the upcoming academic year. This full-time role is essential in delivering specialized educational assistance to students with hearing challenges, ensuring they receive equitable access to high-quality education.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Deliver direct instruction and support customized to the specific needs of DHH learners.
- Employ specialized teaching methodologies and resources to facilitate communication and enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with general education instructors, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals to foster an inclusive educational atmosphere.
- Evaluate and track student progress, modifying instruction and interventions as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
