Job Opportunity: School Bus Driver

We are seeking a qualified School Bus Driver to join our team at the Ithaca City School District.

Job Summary:

The School Bus Driver will be responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from school-related activities. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure the safety and conduct of students on board
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and staff
  • Follow all district policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with students, parents, and staff. The School Bus Driver will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.

Salary and Benefits:
