Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Neurology

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at AMG CARMEL NEUROLOGY, part of Ascension.

About the Role:

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with basic patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assisting with procedures ordered by physicians and supervised by registered nurses.
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
  • Reporting findings or changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assisting with maintaining patient rooms clean and orderly, and ensuring resident safety by identifying potential hazards and taking corrective action.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
