We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at UNC Health Blue Ridge. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
- Perform administrative and clerical duties, including scheduling and documentation
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Office Assistant Program, Clinical Medical Assistant Program, Registered Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician Program
- Current certification as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic
