- Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our Patient Care Services team, responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and their families.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, utilizing established clinical pathways and protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Less than 2 years of previous emergency care experience, with PRN RNs requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute emergency experience
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
- RN - Registered Nurse licensure
- ENCP - Emergency Nurse Pediatric certification
- CEN - Certified Emergency Nurse certification
- NIHSS - National Stroke Association NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in emergency care or critical care
