Key Responsibilities- Engage in didactic learning sessions to enhance your understanding of Emergency Department ED nursing, with a focus on utilizing a state-of-the-art simulation lab.
- Apply critical thinking skills to manage high-acuity and complex patients effectively.
- Pursue certification as a trauma nurse, with opportunities for professional growth in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Education: Completion of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's degree in Nursing is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Registered Nurse RN Licensure: Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an Acute InPatient setting is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Emergency Room ER or Acute InPatient nursing.
- BLS or CPR Certification: Current certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
- ACLS and TNCC: Required within three months of hire.
- Full-Time - 36 hours per week - Night Shift. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

- Experience Nurses with one (1) or more years of expertise receive additional hourly specialty pay, enhancing the base pay compensation.
