Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled DeltaV Automation Specialist to join our team at TSR Consulting Services, Inc. as a key member of our automation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for automation systems, including implementing changes, managing projects, and offering technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Maintain Automation Systems: Design, build, and maintain process automation systems, building automation, and PLC-controlled systems at our facility.
  • Collaborate with Operations Team: Collaborate with the operations team to design, construct, qualify, and operate the facility to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Support Site Operations: Support site operations and manage manufacturing systems.
  • Review and Audit Automation System Designs: Review and audit automation system designs and procurement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or an Associate Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation.
  • Experience: 2 years of engineering experience (BS degree) or 6 years in instrumentation (Associate Degree) with practical experience in large-scale distributed control systems, troubleshooting fieldbus networks, and DeviceNet segments.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with DCS and PLC systems (AB Control Logix, Delta Controls, DeltaV preferred), Ethernet networks, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet IP.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of IO infrastructures (Foundation Fieldbus, DeviceNet, Profibus), and use of multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Additional Requirements: 100% onsite presence in Devens, MA, and on-call availability for off-shift hours on a rotating schedule.
