DATTCO is a third-generation, family-owned transportation company with over 2,000 employees. Our Accelerated Property Management (APM) division provides property management services, including landscaping, facilities management, and construction, to DATTCO divisions and external customers.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Landscaper to join our team. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our properties through landscaping, equipment maintenance, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscaping tasks, including mowing, pruning, and planting, to maintain the appearance of our properties.
- Ensure equipment is repaired and maintained to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
- Assist in solving maintenance-related problems and respond to maintenance requests from the Facilities Manager.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals.
- Participate in winter work projects, including snow plowing, shoveling, and removal.
- Respond to management emergencies as needed.
- Attend work daily and maintain a flexible schedule (Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
Requirements
- High school diploma, trade school, or equivalent.
- Experience in building and grounds maintenance.
- Experience with commercial mowing equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Dependability, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage priorities.
