Position Overview: Under general supervision, Sales Associates offer guidance and education to patients with medical cannabis needs. Associates assist each patient to ensure they receive the appropriate medication that will best address their specific illness and medical condition.

Compensation: $18.29 + Benefits + Tips

Work Schedule: Full-time, including weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient purchase limits before entering the consultation area and communicate these limits to the relevant pharmacist.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service by fostering and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers via calls or emails regarding products, training, and general information.
  • Manage patient records using an MMJ database.
  • Update and maintain databases as necessary.
  • Fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  • Promote and sell all products offered by The Cannabist Company.
  • Establish and uphold a high level of integrity and trust for specific products.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Two years of direct customer service experience required.
  • Possession of a MED Badge.
  • Retail experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sales systems.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook.

Travel Percentage: 0%

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Additional Abilities Required:

  • While performing the duties of this role, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, use hands for manual tasks, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance). Must be able to communicate verbally with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
