Job DescriptionWe're seeking a diligent Production Associate/Assembler to join our expanding team in Pittsburgh. This is a direct hire opportunity with long-term prospects for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing hand tools and equipment to build sub-assembly pieces or finished products from start to finish
- Rotating throughout multiple areas of the assembly department to produce various product lines
- Reading product blueprints and supplying production lines with necessary parts by pulling required pieces from shipping racks
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvements
- Focusing on quality control by detecting and reporting defective materials or equipment issues
- Maintaining a high production rate and assembly station time to meet customer delivery targets
- Cleaning the work area and production equipment
- Promoting a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Demonstrating strong communication skills and an interest in working in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently pushing or pulling up to 20 lbs; occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling weights of up to 40 lbs
- Using hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools
- Able to bend, reach, twist, and carry items above shoulder or below waist level
- Able to interpret and analyze reports such as a Bill of Materials
- Able to stand and walk throughout shift, with breaks
- Able to visually inspect finish, fit, function, and identify defects
Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Our package also includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
