Fitness Coach

Job Summary

The Fitness Trainer will be responsible for leading the Planet Fitness group fitness program. This includes assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals by designing a workout program and instructing them on equipment use.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the Planet Fitness program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on proper equipment use.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of various exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Ensure equipment is well-maintained and functioning properly.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Diplomacy in all interactions.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
