Healthcare Assistant - Flexible Pool

UNM Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Flexible Pool team. We offer full-time positions for our daytime shifts.

As a member of our team, you will provide essential support across various clinics, including primary care, women's health, integrative medicine, and mental health services. We provide professional reimbursement, excellent benefits, and a team-oriented approach to care.

*Sign-On Bonus - $2,000*

Salary Range: Minimum $33,800 - Midpoint $41,766*

*Compensation is based on years of relevant experience.

*Salary is calculated based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) or 40 hours per week. Positions with less than 40 hours/week will be prorated accordingly.

Essential Qualifications for a Healthcare Assistant:

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
  3. National Medical Assistant Certification or Registration within 6 months of hire
  4. BLS certification

The Healthcare Assistant in the Flexible Pool will perform both administrative front desk duties and clinical back-office responsibilities, including assisting with procedures, triaging patients, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
