Role Summary:
As a Merchandiser and Food Service Specialist, you will be instrumental in showcasing and executing our food program at convenience stores. Your key responsibilities will involve implementing planograms, ensuring product displays are attractive, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a strong enthusiasm for food presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold planograms to guarantee product displays align with company standards.
  • Introduce our food program to convenience store managers and staff, emphasizing the advantages and features of our offerings.
  • Conduct regular visits to designated convenience store locations to verify product availability, proper rotation, and freshness.
  • Provide insights on product performance and customer preferences to enhance our offerings.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with store managers and staff to ensure the success of our food program.
  • Utilize your personal vehicle for transportation to various store locations (mileage reimbursed after the first 15 miles).
  • Maintain an organized and efficient schedule to ensure timely visits to all assigned stores.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as necessary.

Expectations:

  • Physical demands may arise during merchandising as store products and shelving may be relocated.
  • Prolonged physical activity is required during resets, including the ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to move, construct, and adjust shelving, displays, and foodservice equipment.
  • Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be necessary.
  • Frequent reaching of hands and arms is expected.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • A valid driver's license must be maintained.
  • Vehicle insurance must always be current.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
  • Use of a personal cell phone during work hours is expected.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in merchandising, food service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with planograms and store layout design.
  • General knowledge of consumer packaged goods (CPG).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a passion for food presentation.
