We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Surgery Partners. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, and outcome evaluation.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to communicable diseases, electrical equipment, and other hazards.
