About the Role
The Defense Health Agency is seeking a Physician Assistant to work in Family Medicine at Irwin Army Community Hospital. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for examining patients, performing initial patient work-ups, and prescribing treatments. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- A minimum of one full year of work experience as a certified physician assistant equivalent to the GS-11 grade level.
- A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician Assistant from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Successful completion of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination and maintenance of certification.
