Electro-Mechanical Systems Specialist

At WITRON, we're seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team in Ennis. As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our state-of-the-art automated material handling system.

- Electrical and Mechanical Tasks: Engage in a wide range of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
- Production Support: Assist the production team with basic fault correction, coaching, and troubleshooting.
- Installation and Refurbishment: Aid in the installation of new components or the refurbishment of existing system components.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement activities through comprehensive system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in industrial technology or related field, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a relevant electrical and/or mechanical role required, five (5) years plus preferred.
- Skills: Strong skills in electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC, and 24V controls) and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity: Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears).
- Knowledge: Knowledge of control technology (PLC/controls/inverters).
- Understanding: Understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring techniques.
- Proficiency: Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary system monitoring programs.
- Continuous Walking: Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing.
- Working at Heights: Working at heights of up to feet while wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE.
- Lifting and Pulling: Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
