KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute tasks as directed by the Assignment Leader.
Undertake specific projects assigned by the Assignment Leader or Program Manager, applying project management skills to oversee and report on project progress.
Engage actively in community service initiatives.Participate in leadership development opportunities (training sessions, speaker events, etc.) to complement the on-the-job learning throughout the program.
Deliver a formal presentation to leaders within the business unit or division.
Establish a network of contacts within the assigned business area, division, or across different functions.
Communicate effectively with others, showcasing strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Adhere to established safety protocols in all tasks.
Perform any additional duties as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates for the LP internship should possess a solid academic background (minimum targeted GPA of 3.0) with at least 1-2 years of college coursework completed, along with a keen interest in pursuing a career in banking.
Strong candidates will have relevant internship or work experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, relationship building, and teamwork through extracurricular activities, work experience, or academic involvement.
Entry-level familiarity with software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), is required. A willingness to learn additional software applications as needed for the internship is essential.
Possess professional customer service skills, with the ability to respond to standard inquiries from both internal and external customers.
Capable of resolving routine issues by following established procedures.
Able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines set by the Manager and Assignment Leader.
Capable of completing tasks with guidance and direction from others.
Demonstrates effective communication skills and chooses the most suitable form of communication (meeting, fax, phone, or email). Responds promptly to requests.
Can create a positive first impression and foster positive working relationships. Understands how to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
