Job SummaryUlrich Lifestyle Structures, LLC is seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for reading build orders and selecting, measuring, and cutting lumber to assemble foundations, floors, walls, roofs, trusses, and doors for our custom-made sheds, garages, barns, playhouses, and cabins.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret build orders to determine lumber requirements and ensure accurate cuts.
- Measure and cut lumber or plywood to meet daily work performance goals and specifications.
- Assemble subfloors, wall sections, trusses, doors, and other fabricating components associated with construction.
- Cut and shape materials, joining them with nails, screws, bolts, or glue.
- Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure structures are level and secure.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets build order specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Manufacturing or warehouse production experience is a plus.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience with home/shed framing (floor to roof) is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating air compressors, air tools, hammer, saw, drill, and other basic power and air tools.
- Work will take place indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various weather elements.
- Availability for daily overtime and Saturday work when needed.
