Dishwasher Job Description

The role of a Dishwasher at UNITED CONCESSIONS GROUP INC is vital in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. As a Dishwasher, you are responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized for reuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Dishwashing: Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans either by hand or using dishwashing equipment such as industrial dishwashers.
  2. Sanitization: Ensure that all washed items are properly sanitized to eliminate any bacteria or contaminants. Follow established sanitation procedures and guidelines.
  3. Cleaning: Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality and hygiene standards. Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized.
  4. Assisting with Kitchen Prep: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables, cutting fruits, or portioning ingredients when necessary.
  5. Waste Management: Dispose of garbage and recycling properly. Maintain cleanliness in trash disposal areas.
  6. Adherence to Health and Safety Regulations: Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. This includes proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  7. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient operations. Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
  8. Time Management: Manage time effectively to complete dishwashing tasks in a timely manner, especially during peak hours.

Qualifications:
  1. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  2. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  3. Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
