Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Statesville, NC. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency calls, such as accidents, disturbances, and crimes in progress.
  • Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and interview witnesses and suspects.
  • Make arrests, issue citations, and conduct searches.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
