Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at James Fisher Technologies. As a senior member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical systems for nuclear and hazardous environments applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform calculations to support design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior engineering role, preferably in a nuclear or hazardous environments context.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or working towards achieving it.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
