About the Role
MRG Exams is seeking a skilled Medical Disability Examiner to join our team. As a Medical Disability Examiner, you will play a critical role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Schedule and Work Environment
This is an in-person position that requires you to work on a set schedule during normal business hours. You will not be required to work evenings, nights, or weekends, and you will not be on call. All work will be performed in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal.
- Conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Electronically document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited) license and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
