Maintenance Technician Job Description

At ABM Industries, we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as spills and equipment failures, to minimize disruption and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
