We are committed to advancing our mission through strategic fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives. Our team works closely with colleagues across the university to develop and implement fundraising strategies that engage and inspire our alumni, students, and other constituents.
About the Role
The Assistant/Associate Director, Annual Giving (Class and Signature Fundraising focus) plays a critical role in this effort, developing and implementing fundraising initiatives related to alumni classes and affinity groups. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in fundraising, alumni relations, and event planning, with a passion for creating lasting relationships that drive financial support for the university.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement gift committee volunteer strategy, recruiting, retaining, and training 600+ class-based volunteers.
- Develop and implement affinity-based fundraising strategy, identifying opportunities to engage donors and increase support from specific groups.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the university to leverage data analysis and inform decision-making, driving engagement and giving among alumni.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in fundraising, alumni relations, sales, marketing, event planning, non-profit organizations, and/or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing programs, meeting measurable goals, and leveraging data analysis to inform decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
