About the Role

The Assistant/Associate Director, Annual Giving (Class and Signature Fundraising focus) plays a critical role in this effort, developing and implementing fundraising initiatives related to alumni classes and affinity groups. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in fundraising, alumni relations, and event planning, with a passion for creating lasting relationships that drive financial support for the university.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement gift committee volunteer strategy, recruiting, retaining, and training 600+ class-based volunteers.
  • Develop and implement affinity-based fundraising strategy, identifying opportunities to engage donors and increase support from specific groups.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the university to leverage data analysis and inform decision-making, driving engagement and giving among alumni.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in fundraising, alumni relations, sales, marketing, event planning, non-profit organizations, and/or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing programs, meeting measurable goals, and leveraging data analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
