Speech Therapist

A Speech Therapist is needed for a part-time contract assignment in the Valparaiso, IN area. The position will be based in a school setting and will involve working with students from K-12 grade levels.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is around $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience. The company offers a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders. This will involve creating individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing therapy sessions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a speech therapist and be licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and hold current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Indiana. ASHA certification is also preferred but not required.
Additional InformationThis is a three-day per week contract assignment that will run for the remainder of the school year. The caseload will consist of students from K-12 grade levels. Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
