Director of Technology

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with our business goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to define the technology vision for the organization.
  • Vendor Management: Work closely with IT vendors to ensure seamless implementation, maintenance, and support of technology solutions. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Brand Standards: Familiarize yourself with major brand standards (Hilton, Marriott, IHG) and ensure our technology infrastructure complies with their requirements.
  • Business Fundamentals: Understand the hospitality industry's nuances, including pricing strategy, guest relations, and revenue management.
  • IT Security: Implement robust security protocols to safeguard our systems, data, and guest information.
  • Microsoft Tools: Leverage Microsoft technologies effectively for productivity, communication, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree: In Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience: Minimum 5 years in a technology leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding: Of brand standards and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills: To build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity: With pricing strategies, revenue management, and guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency: In Microsoft tools and other Hospitality Software Office 365, Amadeus, Oracle, Opera, OTA Insight, OnQ, Lightspeed, PEP, Toast, Aloha.
