Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Grayson Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards in the health and rehabilitation center. The successful candidate will assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility, while prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks, such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
  • Remind residents to take medication and observe and report any changes in their condition or status.
  • Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents and assist in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up.
  • Provide companionship and conversation to residents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certified nursing assistant certification course.
  • Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties.
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
  • Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.
