Pediatric Medicine Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Medicine Nurse to join our team at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Medicine Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and adolescents with a range of medical conditions, including cystic fibrosis, diabetes, and inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric medicine.
Requirements:
  • RN License required, FL State or Compact License preferred.
  • BSN preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of 1-year RN experience in pediatrics preferred.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification required.
