About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to join our team at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring effective unit operations by mentoring and providing direct supervision of the unit's staff. You will promote professional growth, learning, and facilitate the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff. The Nurse Manager will collaborate with the quality department and other hospital leaders to redesign and lead performance improvement activities to enhance care delivery and efficiency throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based and closely aligned with the goals of our physician partners.
Promote a positive working environment and create a culture of safety for nursing staff and patients.
Collaborate with the quality department and other hospital leaders to redesign and lead performance improvement activities.
Plan and execute both the operational and capital budgets in collaboration with the Director of Inpatient Services and the CNO.

Qualifications

BSN required, Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of five years nursing experience required.
Previous leadership experience required, management experience preferred.
Current South Carolina RN license.
BLS and ACLS required.
Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards needed.
