POSITION SUMMARY
Provide exceptional service by delivering food and beverages to guests. Set dining tables according to event type and service protocols. Address inquiries regarding menu items. Liaise with the kitchen staff concerning menu inquiries, wait times, re-cook requests, and item availability. Communicate any dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen team. Accurately record orders using the MICROS system. Check in with patrons to ensure their satisfaction with food and drink offerings. Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, including dishware and utensils, throughout the shift. Complete end-of-day tasks, such as restocking supplies and turning off equipment.
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; and complete required safety training. Ensure that personal appearance and uniform are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and safeguard company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express gratitude to guests sincerely. Communicate effectively and professionally with others. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, support team objectives, and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations. Read and verify information in various formats. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and heavier items with help. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None required.
The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $16.00 per hour plus gratuities and includes health care benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, life insurance, disability coverage, and other wellness benefits. Eligibility and other requirements may apply.
