We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Mercy STL. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our patients, working collaboratively with our nursing staff to ensure the highest level of wellness.
Responsibilities- Assist in the individualized care of patients, working under the direction of the RN or LPN.
- Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to providing care to patients.
- Work cooperatively with others as part of a team, recognizing the importance of group goals.
- High school diploma, G.E.D, CNA/CPTC, or enrolled in a healthcare career program through their high school curriculum.
- No previous experience required; Mercy will provide a required 175-hour training program for new hires.
- BLS certification required within one month of hire, completion of PCA competencies within 3 months of hire.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
